Mahesh Babu couldn’t hold back his tears after while greeting guests during his father’s funeral
The Indian entertainment industry received the shock of their lives when superstar Krishna Garu breathed his last on November 15 at 4:00 a.m. Mahesh Babu’s father was a well-known personality in Tollywood, he had appeared in over 350 films and was one of the prominent faces of Tollywood. Apart from being an actor, he was also a successful director and producer.
The entire Gattamaneni family is currently busy preparing for the veteran’s last rites at his residence in Nanankramguda, Hyderabad. Celebrities from the film fraternity visited the late actor’s house to pay their last respects. In a video that is doing the rounds on the internet, Mahesh Babu can be seen breaking down in tears as he hugs one of the mourners. Taking to the official Twitter handle of GMB Entertainment, Mahesh Babu and his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, announced the passing of the veteran actor. They wrote, "It is with the deepest grief that we inform you of the passing of our dearest Krishna garu. He was a superstar in so many ways beyond the movie screen... guided by love, humility and compassion. He will live on through his work, through us, and the many lives he influenced. He loved us more than anything and we will miss him more with each passing day... but as they say, goodbyes aren't forever. Until we meet again... - THE GHATTAMANENI FAMILY."

For the unversed, the actor lost his mother two months prior due to multiple illnesses and his older brother earlier this year due to a kidney-related illness. It really was a tragic year for the family.
